Everyone is welcome at
all services. We have a Children's Corner in church. Children can
play there, supervised by their parent/carers, during the service
if they wish.
All Sunday services are followed by refreshments served in the
North Aisle. During the summer months refreshments are served in
the North Aisle on Wednesdays. When the weather gets colder the
Refreshments are served in the Vestry Hall, it is usually warmer
From April until October the Church is open
to visitors, every Wednesday, from 11am until 12.45 when the mid
week service begins. Please come along and join us for a
refreshing drink, a snack or just a chat, we are hoping to be
open more often and for longer...
The All age
service, is conducted by a lay reader and is perhaps a little
more informal, young children are very welcome (At any time). As
is anyone who might feel a little uneasy about coming to Church,
you are all most welcome, regardless of age, origins, country of
Birth or Religion.
We also do the usual services
of Marriage, Baptism and Funerals.
We also host an
Eritrean orthodox litury after our own Sunday service, and
from the 28th of November 2016 on the forth Sunday of the Month
we also host a Serbian orthodox Church, in such a
Multicultural City this is a good Opportunity, The Church gets
more use and we all get along just fine.
St. Margaret's has a team of volunteers
who regularly lead 'Open the Book' assemblies in 2 local primary
schools, Fosse Rd and Slater St. The team also help host school
educational visits to St. Margaret's. Both Fosse and Slater
schools hold carol services at Christmas every year.

surrounded by fencing this is part of our work maintenance
program to preserve this beautiful building.
But we as usual
are OPEN for Services, coffee mornings, hymns and prayers, tea
and coffee! Entry will be via the west door or Vestry hall door,
at the back or north side of the Church.
